Borage (Borago officinalis) is the most concentrated plant source of GLA: up to 23% of its total fatty acids. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is a rare essential fatty acid that the body produces less efficiently with age.
Borage and GLA: Mechanisms
Borago officinalis The GLA → DGLA → PGE1 pathway loses efficiency with age (decline in delta-6-desaturase) and in cases of stress, diabetes, and smoking. Borage bypasses this issue by directly providing preformed GLA.

Recommended Use
- 2 capsules per day, taken at once with a large glass of water.
- Do not use continuously: 15 consecutive days per month (from the 16th to the 30th day of the month) or 1 month on, 1 month off.
